Bricks thrower at motorists arrested

Police have arrested a man believed to be linked to the throwing of bricks at people’s cars, on the N12 in the Oakdene and Glenvista areas, south of Johannesburg. One of the suspect’s victim, Caden Slabbert, has been lying in the Intensive Care Unit. He has a fractured skull, and is fighting for his life. Last week, while travelling with his dad, a brick was flung from a bridge on the N12, hitting him on the head. Suspects are believed to stand on the side of the N12, near the Glen Shopping Centre, and throw bricks at passing motorists. A number of other motorist have been seriously injured. Unconfirmed reports are that another couple was attacked last night. The JMPD is working closely with SAPS to bring suspects to book.
